Covered Journals

Good Friday to you all!!!  I hope that all who read this post have had a great week!

I had a couple of ladies at my house last night.  I taught them how to make a covered journal.  Here is the product of our evening.

Here is another one that was made at a previous Stamp Camp!

Hope you enjoyed looking!  If you have any questions or interest in a tutorial on how to make these just let me know.

Guess what?

I have not posted anything in a while due to the fact that I changed the layout of my blog, which took away my ability to add posts.  Then to top that off I could not remember my password..... but I am back now!!! Ready to give this another try!

Refilling SU MarkersI

Just wanted to share with everyone a new discovery  I learned!  You can refill SU markers!  I thought I would share here tip with you.  Here’s how…
You can re-ink your Stampin’ Up markers!!!
All you have to do is use a pliers to pull off the larger colored end like I have shown above. You do have to get a good grip and pull REALLY hard. You will not break them, it goes right back in and snaps closed when you are done!
When you get the top off this is what the inside tube will look like. You just take your re-inker bottle and put a bunch of drops of ink right in the hole in the center and let it soak in.
Take the tube out fully so you can re-ink both end for the small and large tips. Once you have inked the center, put it back in and pop the marker end right back in, it goes back in with a click. This works great!! It takes a few minutes after you are done for the color to soak back up to the ends but then its just like having a brand new marker again!
This is great for the retired colors if you still use them and did not buy extra markers or just for the colors that you use a lot!!

Stamp Camp

Stamp Camp was this past Friday. 5 ladies gathered around my table and had fun making the 3 cards previously posted.  We started out with the rose card with the lattice on the fold.  I allowed them to choose the color scheme for their flowers.  Here is a picture of the finished 5 cards. (sorry it is fuzzy, the auto focus got switched of the camera and I did not catch it).

Here are close ups of the 3 different color schemes!

Stamp Camp Projects

Good day! Here are some cards that I prepared for my recent Stamp Camps.   They are all very easy and were created with some oldy but goody stamp sets.

This one used the big shot Top Note die.

Can anyone name this old stamp set?
How about the design down the left side?

This on was copied from card my wonderful sister sent to my boys last year.

I hope you enjoy them.
